996 Turbo : Intercoolers
One of the most overlooked upgrades on a 996TT is the Intercooler. Many owners upgrade turbos and run 1.2+ bar of boost producing twice the heat without addressing this issue. The primary goal of a upgraded intercooler is the lower the intake temperature, prevent detonation, and keep the car from pulling timing. Cooler intake temperatures equals horse power period. Over the years we have manufactured and tested various intercoolers on our own project cars. We have both direct replacement 3"5 sport Intercoolers as well as 4"5 race Intcoolers for higher HP applications. We also offer custom made monster 6" intercoolers for special requests. We use only high quality Bell cores and produce the entire intercooler inhouse.

3.5" direct replacement sport Intercoolers- stock endtank connection
Our 3"5 sport intercoolers are direct replacement and do not require expensive aftermarket hoses. They are hand crafter in house and pressure tested to 35 PSI. These 3"5 sport intercoolers are direct replacement and are to be used with our silicone boost hose kit. Unlike some cheaper hose kits that use 1.8" inner diameter hoses, we went and improved the design using high quality 2.25" inner diameter silicone hoses.
